    The Bible is at the heart of Christian Science. Mary Baker Eddy, the founder of Christian Science, took to the Bible instinctively as a child and studied it intensively as an adult. Through this study she discovered the healing power of God and experienced it firsthand. This inspired her to delve even deeper into the Scriptures, finding their spiritual meaning, which ultimately led to her.
